The Mind Garage hailed from Morgantown WV. Before that we had all been in an assortment
of bands from cities like Charleston and Fairmont WV. Once we hit Morgantown as students at WVU
we merged and took the name Glass Menagerie with guitarist Tom Warfield, drummer Jim Straub, John
Fisher bass, Norris sax, Jack keyboards and myself, Larry, lead singer. The name was changed to Grass Menagerie in winter 66-67 and dropped in summer 67.
When we toured the Midwest Tom Warfield couldn't go, so John Fisher replaced Tom on guitar, and Norris
dropped sax and took up bass to replace Fisher. When we broke up Norris, Jack and myself (Larry) returned
to Morgantown. Fisher pictured on the lower right side joined Shadows of Night (remember G-L-O-R-I-A ?)
